NEO-POP ABSTRACT

Ludovilk Myers aka “Ilk” is one of those multi-talented artists with a deep understanding of colors and composition. The French graphic designer lives and works in Paris ‘suburb area where he started as a graffiti artist 20 years ago. Influence that can clearly be seen today in his paintings: using acrylic paint, vivid neon colors sprayed and dripping over the canvases, he creates abstract and partially abstracts works that could be qualified as "Neo Pop-abstract" paintings. Using patterns of whimsical popular shapes such as watermelon, polka dots and emoticons, tropical and organic shapes and glitter, his works are with no doubt loud, hype, fun but above all mesmerizing and beautiful. You can find more about his paintings and other works and collaborations on his website here and on instagram @ilkflottante.
